Terrebonne council bristles at state tax bill

Robert James Trahan, 73, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Mr. Trahan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of American Legion Post 0401. He also had a love and appreciation of classic cars.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Judy Grabert; son, Jason (Jane) Trahan; daughters, Melina (Mike) Smith; Bobbie Ann Trahan and Nicole (Earl) Folse; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. today, April 1, at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word begins at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
