Samuel Authement Sr., 78, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Samuel Sr. is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Rhodes Authement; children, Lana Authement, and Samuel Authement Jr. and wife, Penny; brother, Bruce Authement and wife, Evelyn; sister, Agatha Authement King and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Renee Authement Hemphill and husband, Robert, Ryan Authement, Whitney Nelton and companion, Eric Durapau, Tabatha Foret and husband, Jared, Lainey Grabert and husband, Philip, and Trent Dupre; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Jenna, Jarek, Rayce, Daisie, Weston and Sallie.
Samuel Sr enjoyed gardening fishing and most importantly and most importantly his family He had a deep Faith in his Lord Samuel was a fighter and warrior who could be counted upon in any situation.
The Authement family would like to give a special “thank you” to all the family, friends and nurses who helped in his time of need.
He will be forever and dearly missed, always loved and never, ever forgotten.
