Popular Houma restaurant ravaged by flames

Scott Alan Goodwin, 49, a native of Goldsboro, N.C., and resident of Houma, La., died at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016.
Mr. Goodwin was an avid sports enthusiast, cheering for the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Cubs and NC State Wolfpack. He was also a loyal fan to the Dave Matthews Band. He loved the theater and had numerous leading roles at Le Petit Theatre in Houma. He was known as an introspective thinker with a gift for satirical humor and infectious smile.
He is survived by his daughters, Julia and Annabelle Goodwin; father, Ike (Linda) Goodwin; brother, Jay Goodwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial is at a later date.
