Sears closing

The Sears store at the Southland Mall in Houma will close its doors this July. Sears Holdings, the parent company, announced Thursday the impending closure of 10 Sears stores and 68 Kmart locations across the country due to lack of profits. According to the company’s announcement, the Sears stores’ liquidation sales will begin this Friday.
