Shawn Elliott Parfait, 40, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016.
Mr. Parfait was a musician and songwriter, an avid fisherman, die-hard Saints fan, cook and a member of the United Houma Nation.
He is survived by his mother, Maryal (Thomas) Mewherter, companion, Kimberly Trosclair; children, Blaze, Blair, Bryant, Olivia and Kennedy Parfait; sisters, Tiffany (Chris) Reed and Heather Parfait. (Chauvin)
