Shirley Mae McMurray, 93, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015.
Mrs. McMurray was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a retired schoolteacher from Terrebonne Parish School Board, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served her country during the Second World War.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Sara Ann McMurray; and godson, Randal Gary.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
