Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

Susie “Shrimp” Short Guillory, 59, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died peacefully at 6:58 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Mrs. Guillory is survived by her husband, Al Terry Guillory Sr.; son, Al Guillory Jr.; daughter, Anita Guillory; stepson, Terrell Goodwill; five grandchildren; brother, Ulysses Short Jr.; and sister, Christina Walcott.
Burial is at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. (Jones)
