May 10, 2018Sylvia Breaux Matherne, 79, a lifelong resident of Houma, passed away May 1, 2018.
She is survived by her three sons, Allen “Bubby” Callahan and wife “Teetsie”, Danny Callahan and wife Janice, and David Callahan and wife Cheryl; three daughters, Karen Morvant and husband Bryan, Patti Waddle and husband Kelsey, and Consuela Ashmore and husband Dimitri; three brothers, Leonie, Tommy and Michael Breaux; three sisters, Marie Dinger, Louella Toups, Emily Moore; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; two step-sons, Allen and Lucius Hebert Jr.; five step-daughters, Jacinta Hebert, Anita Rios, Lucinda Buquet, Lucy Merritt and Annabell Kinnard; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearer is Brody Waddle.
