We asked six Lafourche natives if they’d be willing to pay taxes to help teachers.

Yes, I would. The problem isn’t that measure. It’s the unnecessary stuff we pay for now.

I wouldn’t. I am against taxing more until other taxes come off the board. Our leaders need to be more creative than just tax, tax, tax.

Without question. We’ve killed education in this state. It’s time we fight to bring it back.

I would. Our teachers need more. We are losing too many good people to other areas.

I am not in favor of taxes. There should be another way without adding more. There is enough fat in what’s collected to move things around.
