Troy Jackson Sr.

Troy Michael Jackson Sr., 53, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:34 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Suzette Brown Jackson; sons, Troy Jr. and Christian Jackson; parents, Cleophus Sr. and Lillian Marta-Jackson; brothers, Floyd and Cleophus Jackson Jr.; two grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Bessie Mae Brown.

Visitation begins Thursday at 9 a.m. at the New Sunlight Baptist Church, 452 St. Patrick St., Raceland. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Larose.
