Cut Off man’s work ethic, dedication the foundation for his success

Valerie savoie Himel, 83, a native ot Houma, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 7:05 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015.
Mrs. Himel was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church and a member of Altar Society. She retired from the Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Court Office after 24 years of service as a supervisor in the Civil and Probate Department.
Mrs. Himel is survived by her son, Mickey (Sandra) Himel; daughters, Tina (Kenneth) Piazza and Toni (Richard) Romero; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Mrs. Himel memory are appreciated.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
