Velma Chauvin Hamner, 99, a native of Edgard, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Mrs. Hamner was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She is survived by her, sons, John (Robbin), Gordon (Nancy), William (Sue), Kenneth (Laurie) and Clyde Hamner; daughters, Alice (Darryl) Brien and Catherine (Eddie) Guilbeau; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Magnolia Cemetery.
