Virginia “Vee” Martin Candies, 89, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Baton Rouge, died on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 2:45pm.
Ms. Martin is survived by her daughter; Charlene C. (Donald) Fontenot; two sons, Curtiss R (Lisa) Candies and Mark T. (Lori) Candies; one brother, Harry Martin; one sister, Barbara M. Shortess; 11 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
