Warren Joseph Fortier, 90, a native of Jeanerette, La., died Thursday, July 2, 2015.

Mr. Fortier attended Loyola University, and Southwestern Louisiana Institute, now University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 1950, he became owner and president of Tri City Motors and formed Tri-City Broadcasting, owners and operators of KMRC/KFXY radio stations, Tri-City Leasing, Astro Credit and several real estate corporations. He served as a past president of the local Rotary Club and member of the Chamber of Commerce, and was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Church and supporter of Holy Cross and Central Catholic Schools.

He is survived by his wife, June Fortier; three daughters, Kathryn Norman, Ann (Pat) Kelly, Renee Fortier; son, Jaime Fortier; sister, Marcelle Fortier Citron; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City.
