Waunita “Nita” Henry Hodges, 94, a native of Duncan, Oklahoma and long-time resident of Houma, passed away on January 2, 2019.
As per her wishes a private memorial service was held.
She is survived by her son, Ray L. Hodges and wife, Annette; grandchildren, Jacob Hodges, Jeremy Hodges, Angela Scott, and Taylor “T.J.” Hodges and their spouses; and five great-grandchildren.
She was an avid artist her whole life and was a founding member of the Terrebonne Parish Art Guild. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, waterfalls and she loved her dogs. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
