BRONZE: South Lafourche receiver Shak Dillon – Dillon made arguably the play of the season on Friday night against South Terrebonne. The senior receiver caught a pass over the middle of the field with one hand, while falling backward – eerily similar to the famous grab that Odell Beckham made against the Dallas Cowboys last season. Later in the game, Dillon struck again, taking a 10-yard curl route and turning it into a 57-yard touchdown, thanks to some shifty moves and natural-bom elusiveness.

SILVER: Terrebonne’s senior class – The playoffs were off the table for Terrebonne in Week 10, thanks to a tough 2015 season. But the Tigers’ senior class still found a way to go out with a bang, using timely offense and a gutsy defensive effort to push past heated rival H.L. Bourgeois in a 14-13 win. The loss ensured that H.L. Bourgeois wouldn’t reach the Class 5A State Playoffs in Carey Melvin’s first season with the team.

GOLD: Central Lafourche quarterback Austin Aucoin – The Trojans lefty quarterback completed the single biggest pass of his life on Thursday night against East St. John. Down four and with the clock slowly fading to zero, Aucoin put a fourth down pass right on the money to Gage Bourg in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown. Aucoin finished the game with 209 yards passing and three total touchdowns – none bigger than the one he converted to clinch his team’s spot in the playoffs.
