The National Weather Service (NWS) New Orleans has issued an alert for critical fire weather conditions expected today and tomorrow.
“A red flag warning has been issued for tomorrow due to a combination of low relative humidity and winds of 15-30 mph with higher gusts,” reads a statement from NWS. “Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly, and outdoor burning is not recommended.”
