Norman Ray, Sr., 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, May 27.
He is survived by his sons, Norman Ray, Jr. of Houma, La., and Ray Clark of Chicago, Il.; daughters, Marie Collins, Vernadette Copeland, Latenia Ray and Clevetta Ray of Chicago, Cassandra Jones of California and Otilia Eubank of Raceland; brother, Marshall Ray, Jr.;12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Cooley Ray; parents, Marshall Ray, Sr. and Mamie Chilson Ray; and sister, Rose Ann Ray Jones.
He was a Baptist
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral to follow. He will be buried at Southdown Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
