This year’s summit boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including the esteemed Governor John Bel Edwards and Jewel Burks Solomon, managing partner of Collab Capital and former head of Google for Startups in the U.S. Burks Solomon will deliver a powerful keynote address during the lunch session.

“Expanding international trade and foreign direct investment and reinvesting in our state's port infrastructure were priorities of my administration from day one, and I am pleased to see LaBIC charting a course for continued focus on those core economic values,” Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards said.

“An economic future that seemed quite uncertain in 2016 is filled with progress and potential prosperity in 2024 and beyond,” Gov. Edwards said.

This federal recovery program provides zero-interest, partially forgivable loans for non-construction expenses to eligible small businesses and nonprofits that were affected by 2020-21 disaster events.
