Thibodaux Police Department - Press Release

Detectives saw a masked juvenile dressed in black attempting to open vehicle doors at multiple residences on Thibodaux’s west side. When officers moved in, the juvenile fled and tried to hide, discarding a handgun in the process.

A Thibodaux man faces multiple felony charges, including illegal weapon possession, intent to distribute marijuana and fentanyl, unlawful handling of machine guns, and firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced that two arrests have been made in connection with three narcotics search warrants that resulted in the findings of a large amount illegal narcotics consisting of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, Ecstasy (MDMA), marijuana, heroin, suboxone, klonopin as well as drug paraphernalia, cash and firearms.
