Are you ready to embrace the French roots of the bayou region? Get ready for good food and good times at the French Food Festival is this weekend!

 

“Come out to enjoy a variety of local specialty dishes unique to Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou and influenced by French/Cajun cuisine. Catch a true Cajun vibe with live music, dancing, and entertainment included,” reads a statement from Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism. “Come hungry and bring your stretchy pants because you will want to sample at least one of everything!”

 

 

The French Food Festival will take place at the Larose Regional Park and Civic Center on October 25-27, 2024. Available food will include etouffée, gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp boulettes, alligator sauce piquante, and much more.

 

The French Food Festival Royalty are Mike Callais, Grand Marshall, Emmie Carriere, Queen, and Bryanna Theriot, Teen Queen.

Friday, October 25, 2024

  • 9:30 PM – 12:00 AM – Junior Lacrosse

Saturday, October 26, 2024 

  • 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition
  • 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns
  • 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM – Snapper and the Fishsticks
