Nicholls

Lady Amelia Windsor presented the Golden Gorilla Award for efforts in conservation to faculty and students from Nicholls State University’s Department of Mass Communication at the Biodiversity Ball at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. The award was in recognition of the first projects completed by the department’s newly formed Nancy Sanderson Matherne Institute for Global Communication. 

"I am so excited to have Brent Haring lead our team," Nicholls State University Vice President for Athletics Jonathan Terrell said. "We wanted someone who wanted to be here and be a Colonel and continue the winning culture.  He has great recruiting background with 22 plus years in the game. Coach Haring and his family will be a great fit to our Nicholls Community, and we are so excited for the future of Nicholls Baseball!"

The Contractor’s Educational Trust Fund donated $50,000 to Nicholls State University’s geomatics program. The donation will help Nicholls supplement the existing $300,000 Super Endowed Professorship.
