July 4: 4th of July Celebration (Houma)

Veterans Memorial Park and the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center parking lot, from 5 to 9 p.m. A Patriots Parade at Veterans Memorial Park kicks off the celebration, followed with a celebration from the civic center parking lot. Evening includes free food, live music and fireworks. The Houma-Terrebonne Community Band and fiddler Waylon Thibodaux will perform.
