Salvador Dali: The Halsman Photographs on display through May. Friends and colleagues Philippe Halsman and Salvador Dali met once a year in the US to collaborate and discuss art, world events, and anything else that struck their fancy. During most of these visits, Halsman’s camera was not far. Portraits of Dale taken by Halsman have becomes some of the most famous and most recognizable works of art in the world. The Terrebonne Parish Library System is proud to display ten of these photographic portraits. This exhibit is organized by Blair-funded by a grant from the Louis P. Saia Foundation and the Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library.
“So Much More than Just a Map” exhibit on display on the 2nd floor. This traveling exhibit is from the Louisiana State Museum.
Antique Glass Bottle Collection by Mr. Elston Marceaux displayed on the 2nd floor through May 30.
