Thursdays: Louisiana French Classes (Houma)

At the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum, 7910 Park Ave., from 6 to 7 p.m. This 12-week beginners’ class covers greetings, numbers and other local expressions in French. Musician and fluent speaker of Louisiana French Rocky McKeon teaches the class. The cost is $5 for registration and $3 per class. (985) 580-7200.
