Congratulations to Thibodaux Police Department Chief Bryan Zeringue, who was inducted into the Louisiana Police Chiefs Hall of Fame this past weekend.

Chief Zeringue began his career with the Thibodaux Police Department over 40 years ago, and has served as Thibodaux’s Chief of Police for 9 years. Chief Zeringue’s long and dedicated career has been marked by trustworthiness, professionalism, and dedication, as he continues to lead an agency built on those values.

“We would like to take this time congratulate our very own Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue on being inducted into the Louisiana Police Chiefs Hall of Fame,” reads a statement from the Thibodaux Police Department. “Chief Zeringue was honored by the Louisiana 1st Responders Christian Association for his leadership activities in the state and community. This is the 5th year of the awards banquet and the first year that it’s been given out to police chiefs, with Chief Zeringue is the first ever appointed Police Chief to receive this award.”

“Serving my community is my passion, and has kept me in public service all this time,” said Chief Zeringue in his mission statement. “It’s a big job, but with the quality men and women that serve at the Thibodaux Police Department, I have faith we will not disappoint.”
