Congratulations to this year’s winners of the annual Thibodeauxville Fall Festival Duck Coloring Contest! Thibodaux Regional Health System is honored to sponsor the popular Duck Race, where participants eagerly await the sight of bright yellow ducks floating down Bayou Lafourche. Join the fun today, November 9, at 4 p.m. in downtown Thibodaux for this family-friendly event!
Founded in 1992, the Thibodeauxville Fall Festival was designed to celebrate and showcase Thibodaux’s historic downtown. It has since blossomed into a major regional event, growing from just 13 vendors to an impressive 180, drawing more than 15,000 attendees each year. The festival’s success earned it a spot on the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events list in 2011, as well as the prestigious Shining Example Award, honoring it as the top festival in the Southeastern United States.
Visitors can enjoy Cajun cuisine, browse arts and crafts, and listen to live entertainment across several stages, featuring both local and regional musicians. Open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with no admission fee, Thibodeauxville offers something for everyone. In addition to the Duck Race, families can explore the festival’s classic car show, where hot rods, trucks, and antique vehicles take center stage.
