Anna Mae T. Bourgeois, 83, a native of Lafourche Crossing, La., and a resident of Chauvin, La., died Thursday, July 2, at 12:03 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Joseph Bourgeois; sons, Michael Bourgeois, Timothy and wife Marriann Bourgeois, and Jeffory and wife Laura Moody Bourgeois; daughters, Carol Ann Terrebonne and husband George, and Gloria Andrews and husband Russell; sisters, Anna Belle Trosclair and Cecilia Ponville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and companion, Diane Pitre of Montegut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred S. and Ceslea Knight Thibodeaux; sister, Gertrude Boudreaux; and grandchildren, Ray Bourgeois and Alex Bourgeois.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at St. Joseph Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Falgout Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
