Bruce J. Pitre Jr., 63, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, October 21.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Landry Pitre; his mother, Victoria Champagne; one son, Brian A. Pitre; one daughter, Michelle A. Pitre; one stepson, James E. Miles III; one stepdaughter, Kristin Pregeant; one brother, Dana S. Pitre; and five grandchildren, Brian Pitre Jr., Brandon Ward, Alisa Miles and Evan and Julia Pregeant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Pitre Sr.; his stepfather, Russell Champagne; and one brother, Barry J. Pitre.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, October 23, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a religious service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
