Verna Himel Boudreaux Arcement, 94, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died Monday, July 29, 2013.
She is survived by her son, Gerald (Linda) Boudreaux; sisters, Margaret Bourgeois and Lois Himel; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Boudreaux; second husband, Noley Arcement; parents, Edgar and Henrietta Himel; brothers, Russell, Horace and Whitney Himel; sister, Lilly Gros; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Landry’s)
