Barbara Anne LeBlanc, 80, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 3:56 PM in the presence of her nieces, Rachel Lamartina, Belle Shaw, her great niece, Lacy Lamartina and her great great nephew, Mason Lamartina. Born December 28, 1943, she was a native of Schriever, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service time at Saint Genevieve Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her godchildren, Claude Daigle, Jr., Tonia Sposito, and Laura Lamartina Spreafico; nieces and nephews, Thalia Louviere, Jaqueline “Jackie” Bonvillain, Floyd LeBlanc, Jr., Jerome LeBlanc, Michael “Mike” Daigle, Karen Daigle Ledet, Angela Dautreuil and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luby LeBlanc, Sr. and Laura Roger LeBlanc; brothers, Floyd L. LeBlanc, Sr. and Luby John LeBlanc, Jr.; sisters, Audrey Mae Theresa LeBlanc, Eula LeBlanc Daigle; niece, Cheryl Sanchez.
She was dedicated to her job as an office manager and comptroller accountant. She started working at Lafourche Motor Company in 1960, then worked for Greg and Geri LeBlanc’s dealerships eventually retiring from Geri Lynn Nissan.
