Victor S. Todaro, Jr. 60, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
He is survived by his mother, Pierrette “Pat” Todaro; sister, Patricia “Patty” Todaro; nephew, Bradley Porche; niece, Victoria Rodriguez (Travis); great-nephew, Xadrian Porche; aunt, Francoise “Fran” McKeever; and cousins, Raymond Decoux (Anna) and their children, Eden and Jackson, Lauren McKeever, and her children, Alexander and Arabel, and Pamela Porche; and many extended family members and dear friends. He is also survived by his feline family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor S. Todaro, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Alex and Nelly Lorin Samanie; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Frances Valure; uncle, Patrick McKeever; great-nephew, Carter Samuel Roberts; and cousin, Sterling Nesbitt.
Victor graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1982 and then went on to RETS in New Orleans for electronic school. He worked most of his life in the electronic field. The job he liked the most was working for MTI for 10 years as a I & E Technician. Victor loved going offshore and working on the platform rigs in the Gulf. His hobbies were riding dirt bikes and motorcycles when he could find the time. He also loved to work on his cars during his spare time. Victor loved his blue Trans Am and Nissan 300, but his main love was all his fur baby cats. We think he contributed a new wing to Walthers Animal Clinic as many trips he made to the vet with his fur baby cats. Victor loved all his family and friends and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank Terrebonne General Hospital and staff for all their help and compassion with Victor in his time of need. The family would also like to thank Victor’s oncologist, Dr. Fosella at MD Anderson and all his other doctors and staff at MD Anderson of Houston, TX.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 9:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
